Berrechid – A police inspector from the provincial district of the National Security of Berrechid was forced, Tuesday morning, to use his service weapon to arrest a wanted individual, in a state of high impulsiveness and who seriously endangered the safety of citizens and police officers using a bladed weapon, we learned from a security source.
The first elements of the investigation indicate that the elements of the judicial police intervened to arrest the accused, the subject of two wanted notices for assault and battery with a bladed weapon and drug trafficking, who put up fierce resistance using a bladed weapon, injuring a police officer, which forced the police inspector to use his service weapon and fire two warning bullets, notes the same source.
The use of the service weapon made it possible to neutralize the danger and arrest the accused who tried to flee through the roof of a public institution, the same source said.
