Nani and Keerthy Suresh won the Best Actor-Actress award at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA). The award ceremony was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on Saturday (September 14). These two stars of Telugu cinema accepted the award by appearing in it.
The popular movie ‘Dasara’ is produced by Srikanth Odela. Nani and Keerthy Suresh acted together in this movie with a budget of Rs 65 crore. The movie was released on March 30 last year. 117 crores at the box office. Nani-Kirti won the South Indian International Movie Awards for this movie.
Apart from that, Anand Devarakonda, Best Actress (Critics) Mrunal Thakur, Best Supporting Actor Dixit Shetty, Best Director Sai Rajesh won the award from Telugu Film Industry. Best Actor Rakshit Shetty, Best Actress Chaitra Achar, Best Director Hemantha Rao etc. from Kannada Film Industry.
The South Indian International Movie Awards are presented around the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries. The first award ceremony was held in Dubai in 2012. Since then, the organizers have been giving this award regularly.
