Champagne prize 2024 President’s Cup recorded history. The Vice Chairman of Finance for the 2024 President’s Cup, Vincentius Dominique Sugama, revealed that ahead of the race for third place, income from sponsors increased again, after one company pledged to invest IDR 1 billion.
Due to this addition, this year’s sponsorship value is estimated to be the highest in the history of the application. “On July 29, we received Rp. 78 billion. On July 31, we received an additional company of Rp. 1 billion, so the total sponsorship achieved was Rp. 79 billion,” said Maruarar in a press conference at Pracima Twin Pura Mangkunegaran Single, Friday (2/7/2024).
Meanwhile, Chairman of the 2024 President’s Cup Organizing Committee, Risha Adi Widjaya, said the total prize pool for the President’s Cup had also increased compared to previous events.
The 1st place winner will receive a cash prize of Rp. 5,250 billion, 2nd place winner (Rp. 2,750 billion), 3rd place winner (Rp. 1,750 billion), and 4th place winner (Rp. 1,250 billion). This figure is an increase of IDR 250 million from last year.
“The prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place have increased by IDR 250 million from the previous event,” said Risha.
The third place will be at the President’s Cup 2024 event itself between Persis Solo and Persija Jakarta, on Saturday (3/8/2024). Meanwhile, the final will bring together Borneo FC vs Arema FC, on Sunday (4/8/2024).
Risha said Persis Solo acted as the home team in the third place match. Meanwhile, during the final round, Borneo FC was the host team.
