Better acid inhibition with vonoprazan than with lansoprazole

The potassium-competitive acid blocker vonoprazan provides faster and stronger gastric acid inhibition than the proton pump inhibitor lansoprazole. This is evident from a randomized controlled patient study by Laine et al. The findings were recently published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology.
