On October 4, 1990, “Beverly Hills 90210” was broadcast for the first time in the United States, destined to become one of the most popular series of the decade. In Italy, the 10 seasons started with a little delay, in 1992, and ended in 2001. Set in the rich neighborhood of Los Angeles, “Beverly Hills” had an extraordinary success thanks to the events experienced by the protagonists – 8 teenagers of the American high bourgeoisie – but also for having dealt with sensitive topics such as drugs, AIDS, sexuality and alcoholism. Almost twenty years after the closure of the series, a 6-episode reboot entitled “90210” (canceled after only one season) was launched with the components of the original cast: among them, therefore, Jennie Garth (who is among the authors together to Tori Spelling, the face of Donna Martin), historical interpreter of Kelly Taylor.
