Yes (Yes) reported this morning (Thursday) to the stock exchange that it has received an Internet provider license, and from today it will be able to sell packages that include Bezeq’s television, provider and Internet infrastructure. The direct result of the move is the continued decline in Bezeq International’s customers, which has already affected tens of thousands of customers after undergoing the reform that abolished the separation between supplier and infrastructure, after which Bezeq grew at the expense of its subsidiary.

Yes currently holds a little over half a million satellite TV subscriptions, and another 275,000 TV subscriptions via the Internet. The company intends to transfer all subscriptions to the Internet in the future and part with the satellites, and the current move is substantial on the way to this goal. From now on, Yes will be able to sell packages that include infrastructure and an Internet provider, and pick up gear before the war on international streaming networks begins.

In fact, what Shiss can do now is already being done by HOT, Cellcom and Partner, which sell packages that include the three above. The move, as mentioned, will reduce some international customers’ flash, but the brand will continue to operate in the private market and provide full service to its customers, until they choose to end the contract with it.

The four media companies are now preparing for the next phase of the streaming war. Disney Plus is already with the Israelis (albeit in a disappointing version), and yesterday (Wednesday) the Council of the Second Television and Radio Authority approved in terms and conditions Keshet’s request to open a new multi-channel television platform (FREETV) project, which will operate on the Internet.
