The appeal commission of the BFS blatantly lied that no one knew about the concerts of “Vasil Levski” before the draw of the championship in June, and because of the “National Sports Base” and the MMS, the chaos around the eternal derby happened.

“24 Chasa” has an official letter with outgoing number 24-427-1 dated March 18, well before the draw for the championship.

It says:

To the Bulgarian Football Union

Mr. Georgi Ivanov, President

Dear Mr. Ivanov,

The office of “National Sports Base” EAD received letters with requests to hold the musical events at the “Vasil Levski” National Stadium on August 31 and September 14, 2024. The time for preparing the events begins on August 23, 2024. The organizer of the events commits that after the concerts are over, it will completely restore the grass surface of the football field and it will be suitable for holding football matches after September 30, 2024.

Given the long time span for holding the events and the workload at the “Vasil Levski” National Stadium at this time of the year, please take into account the specified schedule when planning international football matches and matches from the efbet league’s internal calendar.

It was signed by the then executive director Svetoslav Rusinov.

On June 7, again before the draw, letter 24-880-1 was sent to the executive director of CSKA Stoyan Ormandzhiev, where the current executive director Plamen Manolov informed the “reds” about the same.

And on June 16, Plamen Manolov informed the head of the sports and technical department of BFS, Nedelcho Mihailov, that the match could be scheduled for after September 30. It has the serial number 24-1265-1.

At the moment, Georgi Ivanov also has letter 24-483-1 from June 24, in which he asks for everything to be agreed because of the planned concerts next year.
