[BGL Ligue] Henri Bossi, back in Hostert again!

by time news

After a start to the year that plunged him into relegation, the USH made the decision to repatriate the usual savior in place of young Lars Schäfer. The choice of experience in the face of a complicated situation.

Henri Bossi, sports director of Swift, it’s already over. And for good reason: the US Hostert has decided to separate from its young German coach, Lars Schäfer and entrust him with a new rescue mission. The 65-year-old coach, who had started the season at Youth and had decided to accept the position left vacant after the dismissal of Sofian Benzouien in Hesperange, will therefore experience a third club in less than six months.

He had already returned for a repair (which lasted) in 2020

But this one, he knows it much better than the two previous ones: he has already led 160 matches there, multiplying the exploits with a club whose budget intends him to play maintenance each season. Author of several last minute rescues including in the barrage, Henri Bossi had already agreed to return to the relative failure of the “experience” René Peters, during the 2019-2020 season.

This time again, he inherited a complicated situation: officially relegated since Sunday’s defeat against Rosport (1-3), USH is three lengths behind the first non-relegation player and, above all, only took one point out of six possible against direct competitors (Käerjeng and Victoria). He has only one victory in his last eight league matches. To thwart this terrible dynamic, Jacques Wolter and his committee have followed in the footsteps of Mondercange – who has just called Ciancanelli instead of Dinis De Sousa -: putting youthism on hold and putting the “old” back in charge.
