IRCTC Launches Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains from Bhopal
Bhopal, 2024-08-10 – The Indian Railways Catering Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has announced the launch of two Bharat Gaurav tourist trains from Bhopal Railway Division in September. These trains offer affordable packages for pilgrims and tourists to visit various religious and historical destinations across the country.
Dakshin Darshan Yatra
The first Bharat Gaurav train, named Dakshin Darshan Yatra, will depart on September 4th. This nine-night and ten-day journey will take passengers to Tirupati, Rameswaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, and Trivandrum. The fare for this train starts from Rs 18,200 in sleeper class.
Puri, Gangasagar & Bhavya Kashi Yatra
The second Bharat Gaurav train will commence operations on September 20th. This ten-day journey will visit Puri, Gangasagar, Gaya, Varanasi, and Ayodhya. The fare for this train starts from Rs 17,200 in sleeper class.
Train Details
Both trains will have 14 coaches, including seven sleeper coaches, three third AC coaches, and one second AC coach. The capacity of each train is 820 passengers.
Accommodation and Facilities
IRCTC will provide accommodation in non-AC and AC hotels for passengers during the journey. Non-AC rooms will be available for sleeper and third AC passengers, while second AC passengers will have access to an AC hotel. A non-AC bus will be available for transportation to tourist places.
Children’s Policy and Insurance
Children under 5 years of age travel free. For children above 5 years, a charge will be applicable. The train offers insurance coverage of Rs 4 lakh per passenger.
