Tamil Nadu: Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will continue from Agastheeswaram in Kanyakumari today. The first phase will conclude at Suchindra at 10 am. Today’s tour will conclude in the evening at Nagercoil. Around 300 permanent members appointed by the national leadership and appointed by PCCs will accompany Rahul Gandhi in the padayatra. Rahul Gandhi will interact with civic leaders and common people between 10 am and 4 pm. Padayatra will enter Kerala on 11th.

Rahul Gandhi said the other day that BJP’s attempt to divide India will not succeed and the country will always remain united. Rahul Gandhi’s opening speech had excited the Congress workers thronging the Kanyakumari beach and attacked the BJP. BJP is trying to own the tricolor flag. Rahul Gandhi said Bharat Jodo Yatra is to listen to the Indian people. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin flagged off the yatra at Kanyakumari. The journey will end in Kashmir after covering 3570 km in 150 days.

Rahul Gandhi arrived at Kanyakumari after paying floral tributes at Rajiv Gandhi Smriti in Sri Perumputhur. Then flower offering at Thiruvalluvar statue. Prayers at Gandhi Mandapam with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. Stalin flagged off the Bharat Jodo Yatra by handing over the national flag to Rahul.

BJP’s attempt to intimidate the opposition will not succeed. Rahul Gandhi told the workers to stand united to protect the country. Chief Ministers Ashok Gehlot, Bhupendra Bhagal, Congress Working Committee members, General Secretaries etc. spoke at the opening ceremony where Sonia Gandhi’s message was read out. The padayatra will be seven hours a day. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi will interact with common people and civic leaders. Avoiding hotels, travelers sleep in containers at night.

BJP has united India Hindus. There is nothing wrong in this. However, they must not carry out repressive policies against those who are not Hindus.
