| Bheeshma Parvam Review Mammootty’s Bheeshma ‘Power’: Review

by time news

Kochi may not be the old Kochi, but Mammootty and Amal Neerad are the same old Mammootty and Amal Neerad who thrilled us with ‘Big B’. No one should have any doubt about it. They have prepared the film Bhishmaparvam so beautifully. There is no need to look for another answer to the question of why Iowa did the film first, skipping the second part of Big B ‘Bilal’.

Michael is the cause of a large family of five hundred. Although he’s not old enough, Michael decides his fate. Michael who runs without night or day for any need of anyone whom everyone affectionately calls Michael. The theme of the film is that outsiders take advantage of the inconveniences of that big family and set foot there and some of the problems that arise later.

Bhishma Parvam is a movie that literally fits in with some of the mass + class movies. The film opens with the story of Michael and his family of five hundred. In the very first scenes, the director was able to assert the innocence of his hero. Michael is portrayed in the film in a way that even the audience feels fear and respect for. The first fight scene changes gears in the film, which starts at a low rhythm. The scenes captured on the robotic camera will be a feast for the audience. Later, the film moves on with a little more focus on the story.

The second half started slowly and continued. The emotional scenes on the Iowa side are very well presented. As we approach the climax, things are moving like the Battle of Kurukshetra. Though the film travels with Mammootty in the lead, the story never leaves the director’s hands.

The highlight of Bhishma Parvat is the solo performance of actor Mammootty. Michael can probably be described as a character that only Mammootty can do. It’s hard to beat him in looks and dialogue delivery. Saubin Zaheer is another actor who has excelled in cinema. Shine Tom Chacko also shone with another different performance while he excelled in emotional scenes. Nadia Moidhu, Srinath Bhasi, Lena, Kottayam Ramesh, Abu Salim and Sudev Nair were the other stars who excelled. It was rare to see Mammootty together with Nedumudi Venu and KPAC Lalitha in one frame.

Many people wonder how Amal Neerad prepares the film. It is doubtful whether there is another director in Malayalam who is technically so brilliant. When you hear Amal Neerad’s movie, Iowa movie is one step ahead of what is expected. Screenplay and dialogues by Amal, Devadath, scenes and dialogues by Mammootty and Michael. Music composer Sushin Shyam has taken many scenes to another level. Anand C Chandran’s beautiful frames combined to give the audience a new cinematic experience.

Bhishma Parvam is a must-see movie experience in the theater itself. Iowa cinema should not be seen only as a mass film for the fans. It has a core story, emotional moments and great dialogues and frames. Those who take cinema seriously have a lot to learn from the film. There is only one question on the mind of the average viewer of an Iowa movie. ‘The first sin of Ajanta was seen in the first scene, will it be Bilal again?’
