Bhind: Two jawans went missing when an SDRF boat capsized while trying to rescue a villager in the Kunwari river in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh. Their search operation is still going on today i.e. Thursday. The NDRF team from Gwalior is searching in the river with 40 jawans.
According to the information received, on Wednesday, a person named Vijay Kushwaha went to rescue his cattle trapped at the stop dam of Kunwari river. He died due to drowning due to high water. To rescue Vijay, the villagers and SDRF personnel Praveen Kushwaha and Har Das along with two other people proceeded in the river by boat. When the flow of water increased, the boat became uncontrolled and overturned. All four people were swept away in the flow of water. It is said that two of the four people in the boat were rescued safely, while both the SDRF personnel were swept away in the flow of water.

The search operation for both the soldiers continued till late Wednesday night, but no success was achieved. On Thursday morning, the search operation for both the soldiers was started again which is still going on. The flow of water in the river is very fast and it is feared that both the soldiers might have gone far ahead with the flow of water.
