Agra: The discussions about Narayan Sakar Hari alias Bhole Baba regarding Hathras stampede incident are not stopping. On one hand, a high-level committee is investigating the entire incident, on the other hand, a youth named Krishna Gopal reached Bhole Baba’s hut in Kedar Nagar, Shahganj, Agra to protest. Sitting at Baba’s hut, he started reciting Hanuman Chalisa. Krishna Gopal says that Bhole Baba is the culprit of the stampede incident. He should be arrested. As soon as the police got information about this, they chased him away from the spot.
Narayan Sakar Hari alias Bhole Baba lived in Shahganj Kedar Nagar in Agra 24 years ago. His house number is EWS Sector D 55 of Kedar Nagar Scheme of Agra Development Authority. Now his followers call it by the name of Kutiya. Even after the Hathras stampede incident on July 2, the devotees of Bhole Baba have not stopped coming to his Kutiya. Every day, a crowd of hundreds of people come to pay obeisance at Bhole Baba’s court.
Demand for arrest
Krishna Gopal Upadhyay, a resident of Shahganj area, reached Kedar Nagar Bhole Baba’s hut on Monday morning. Krishna Gopal has held Baba responsible for the death of 123 people by pasting a poster on the hut. Krishna Gopal sat on a dharna since morning demanding the arrest of Baba. Krishna Gopal says that Baba makes people sing his praises, while in satsang, God is worshipped. Baba is spreading hypocrisy.
The police chased them away
On one side Krishna Gopal Upadhyay was protesting at Bhole Baba’s hut. On the other side, Bhole Baba’s followers were bowing their heads at the hut. During this, many people got into an altercation with Krishna Gopal who was protesting. When the police came to know about this, the police reached there and chased the youth away. Krishna Gopal has contested elections from South Assembly. Local people said that he was doing political stunts to shine in his politics.
