Bhopal: An innovation is going to start in AIIMS, the only All India Institute of Medical Sciences located in Madhya Pradesh. AIIMS Bhopal is going to conduct a new research in the field of Ayurveda. AIIMS Bhopal is starting an important effort for research on the treatment of anemia through Ayurvedic medicines. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has announced this. The Minister also formally announced collaboration between the Ministry of AYUSH and ICMR at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi for advancement of integrated health research and initiation of a multicentre clinical trial on anemia treatment.

The research team at AIIMS Bhopal includes Dr. Anindo Majumdar, Dr. Danish Javed, Dr. Pankaj Prasad, Dr. Ashok Kumar and Dr. Garima Goyal, who have played a key role in shaping this initiative.
