ROMA. Tommaso Giacomel returns to the World Cup podium in the final sprint in Canmore (Canada), thanks to an excellent performance with only one shooting error and the fourth fastest time.

He won the race Johannes Thingnes Boe, who finds zero in both shooting ranges and closes with an advantage of one minute and two seconds over Giacomel, who however, thanks to the final forcing, manages to get behind Tarjei Boe, third, as well as the Frenchman Emilien Jacquelin and the Swede Samuelsson, all in he fights with him, until he exits the second shooting range, for a place on the podium.

Amazing race by Norwegian Johan Olav Botn, who with bib number 100, manages to get into fifth place, 11 seconds behind Giacomel. Lukas Hofer also had a good race, despite three shooting errors, he was fast on skis and finished in thirteenth place. The sprint Cup goes to Tarjei Boe, while his brother Johannes is heading towards winning the overall Cup. Giacomel is eighth with 598 points and consolidated his lead in the Under 25 ranking, while finishing in fifth place in the sprint ranking.
