US President Joe Biden was almost blown off the plane by a snowstorm that covered several regions of the country on January 3.

The American leader flew from Delaware to Washington, but due to bad weather the liner had to land at the Andrews military base.

The weather conditions there turned out to be no better – because of a snowstorm, the head of the White House had to sit on the plane for half an hour.

Descending the ladder, Biden took a few steps and swayed, took hold of the handrail and, after a short pause, continued on his way to the waiting presidential cortege.

A blizzard hit Washington – large flakes of snow fall, forming a thick snow cover on the ground. Schools, offices of federal organizations were closed due to bad weather, a briefing at the White House was canceled.
