At the beginning of his speech, the American president said that he hopes that the war in Ukraine will end on simple terms, and made it clear that it is impossible to seize a nation’s territory by force. “We will stand by Ukraine against Russia’s aggression,” he clarified. He also stated that the United States supports the expansion of the Security Council. However, he noted that “the US is not looking for a confrontation or a cold war with China” and explained that his country is committed to one China.
