A conspiracy against US President Joe Biden has unfolded within the Democratic Party.
New York Post journalists report that high-ranking party opponents have been demanding that Biden withdraw from the race and have even threatened to force him to leave the race if he does not do so voluntarily.
The paper cites sources inside the party who describe a “well-orchestrated palace coup” that has unfolded against Biden in recent weeks. According to the New York Post, the president has tried to resist the effort to the very end.
Part of the elaborate strategy to sideline Biden from the presidential race was to allow him to participate in televised debates with Donald Trump. Biden’s problems became apparent to a large audience on live television.
The publication reports that “the debate was designed as a trap to convince Democrats of his unfitness for the presidential campaign,” citing a source close to Biden.
Hunter Biden came to his father’s defense, expressing grave concerns that his father was deliberately framed. Despite the debate mishap, Joe Biden remained determined to continue his campaign.
In response, party leaders began threatening to invoke the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which allows the vice president and cabinet members to declare the president “unfit to execute the office of the president” and thus force him to leave the Oval Office.
