The President of the United States, Joe Biden, said during a midterm election speech in California that the United States will liberate Iran. The president of the Shiite country responded to the words live immediately afterwards.
Addressing protesters holding signs supporting protesters against the Iranian regime during a campaign speech in California, Biden said: “Don’t worry, we’ll free Iran. They’ll free themselves pretty soon.” Biden did not say what actions would be taken against the Iranians.
The Iranian president, Ebrahim Raisi, responded to Biden’s words in a live speech: “I tell Biden that Iran was liberated 43 years ago, by the Islamic revolution of 1979.”
Iranian Foreign Minister, Hussein Amir Abdulkhianhe also responded: “Biden, stop your hypocritical behavior.”
According to Abdulhian, “The White House has promoted more and more violence and terrorism in the recent riots in Iran, and at the same time it is trying to reach a nuclear agreement.”
