A‘Kathal- The Core’ is Mammootty’s upcoming film. Jio Baby is directing the film which has been garnering attention since its announcement. Actress Jyothika is coming to Malayalam film after many years. Updates, stills and videos related to the film have a lot of viewers. Now Mammootty’s video from the movie location is going viral.
Mammootty company has shared the video from the Kathal sets. In the video, Mammootty is seen returning from the sets after completing the shoot. The theme song of Big B is included in the background of the video of Mammootty coming out of the caravan. In the video, Mammootty is seen driving himself after greeting the people gathered around him. And there is rain.
The name of the character played by Mammootty in the film is Mathew Devasi. This character is contesting as an independent candidate of the Left Party in the panchayat elections. After Roshak, Kathal is also the film produced by Mammootty under the banner of Mammootty’s company. Kathal is the seventh film directed by Jio Baby. The film is distributed by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films.
Lalu Alex, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandini, Sudhi Kozhikode, Anagha Aku, Josie Sijo and Adarsh Sukumaran are playing other important characters. The screenplay of the film is written by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria.
