The Insoumis do not intend to miss the national holiday. Not to attend the military parade. But to show once again their disapproval of Emmanuel Macron’s policy. According to our information, the leaders of LFI met on Monday April 24, as they do every week, and discussed the way forward. In the presence of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, three dates were marked on the diary: May 1, June 8, day of the parliamentary niche of the Liot group… And July 14.
The Insoumis leader considers that the country has entered a “destituent phase” and he does not intend to miss a single opportunity to drive the point home. “On July 14, we must already begin to think about what we are going to do that day”, enjoins Paul Vannier, deputy close to Mélenchon. “It is the day symbolizing the grounding of absolutism,” he underlines. The sequence of retreats is not over and Macron having set an appointment on July 14, it will last, ”wants to believe this Insoumis leader.
“It is out of the question that nothing is happening”
