Kanpur: There is a relief news for former Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki, who has been living behind the bars for a long time. The bail plea of three people, including accused Irfan, has been approved in the case of preparing fake documents to wrongly allow a Bangladeshi citizen to stay in India. Judge Rajeev Mishra approved the bail application.

Allahabad High Court has approved the bail of 3 people including former SP MLA Irfan Solanki. In the case, accused Irfan Solanki, councilor Mannu Rahman and Bangladeshi citizen Rizwan had presented the bail petition in the High Court. All of them are accused of helping Bangladeshi citizens get fake documents, Aadhaar cards, birth certificates etc. to wrongly allow them to stay in the country.

Actually, the allegation in this case is that Bangladeshi citizen Rizwan married Hina, a resident of Kanpur and took her with him to Bangladesh. After that Hina took the citizenship of Bangladesh. Both of them also had 3 children. In the year 2016, Rizwan and Hina returned to Kanpur with their children. Here, children were enrolled in the local school on the basis of fake certificates.

Now a case has been registered against Rizwan along with Hina and her three children regarding this entire episode. During the investigation, it also came to light that Irfan Solanki and Councilor Mannu Rehman had cooperated in preparing fake documents. Chargesheet was sent to the court against all the accused. Hina has already been granted bail in this case.

It was argued on behalf of the accused that the co-accused has been granted bail. Now there is no documentary evidence against the other accused. Rizwan has come to India on a valid visa. The allegations leveled against him are not true. Considering all the facts and evidence, the court has approved strong bail for the three accused. However, Irfan will have to remain in jail for now because many other cases are also registered against him.
