The board of directors of listed companies Sonali Ansh Industries and K&Q Limited has released unaudited financial reports for the second quarter (October-December, 2023) and half-yearly quarter (July-December, 2023) of the current financial year. According to the published report, the profit per share of the two companies has increased a lot in the current quarter.

On Tuesday (February 13), Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) informed this information.

Earlier, the board of directors of the two companies held a meeting on Monday (February 12) after reviewing and approving the financial report for the second quarter of the current financial year.

Sonali Ansh: The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the half-yearly quarter of the current financial year has been Tk 10.63. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) in the corresponding period of the previous year was Rs.1.02. As such, the company’s profit per share increased by Tk 9.61 or 942 percent in the quarter under discussion.

Meanwhile, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the second quarter of the current financial year was Tk 6.04. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) in the same period of the previous year was Rs.0.57. Accordingly, the company’s profit per share increased by Tk 5.47 or 959 percent in the quarter under discussion.

As of June 30, 2023, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 128.78.

K&Q: The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the half-yearly quarter of the current financial year stood at Tk 1.24. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) in the same period of the previous year was Rs.0.26. As such, the company’s profit per share increased by Tk 0.98 or 376 percent in the quarter under discussion.

Meanwhile, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the second quarter of the current financial year has been Tk 1.19. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) in the same period of the previous year was Rs.0.11. As such, the company’s share profit increased by Tk 1.08 or 981 percent in the quarter under discussion.

As of June 30, 2023, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 91.72.
