Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 has reached the first day and the audience is already excited. The general consensus is that all the contestants are doing justice to this season’s tagline of originality as they witness a battle filled with valor and swagger. But it was said that this season of Bigg Boss will also include a commoner contestant. So Gopika Gopi entered the house with the tag of being the first commoner in Bigg Boss Malayalam history. Gopika, a native of Muvattupuzha, entered the Bigg Boss house while working in a courier agency.
Gopika has managed to find her own place in the Bigg Boss house in the very first week. But Gopika is faced differently by many of the other contestants. Some people encourage Gopika while others fear Gopika that she might become their rival. But many describe Gopika as commoner.
Against this, Bigg Boss host and actor Mohanlal came to the scene in Saturday’s episode. Mohanlal’s warning that there is no need to address Gopika as commoner. Mohanlal asked the other contestants that many people call Gopika a commoner and that Gopika is not a good name.
Many people call Gopika a commoner there. But Mohanlal said that till Gopika came here it was common and now Gopika is a celebrity inside Bigg Boss. Mohanlal also suggested that Gopika should be called Gopika. Mohanlal also said that they can be called Gopi, Gopu and Go.

Meanwhile, Gopika has won the first prize in this season’s Bigg Boss. Mohanlal himself announced this award. Gopika was awarded the Best Trickster Award for the person who performed the best trick among the 18 contestants. Earlier in the opening ceremony, Gopika had shared her joy of reaching a platform like Bigg Boss.
Gopika had told Mohanlal in her intro that she would stay in the Bigg Boss house for 100 days and take the trophy from sir. In response to Mohanlal’s questions, Gopika had said that there was tension as it was the first time and that she would be super and stay here.
