Nalanda: To overcome the problems arising due to land survey in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken a big decision. Now officers like DM, DCLR and CO will themselves go to the villages to take stock of the situation and solve the problems. Let us tell you that the work of land survey is going on in Bihar since August 20. The purpose of this survey is to end land related disputes. But many challenges are also coming up during the survey. People are facing problems regarding their land claims, Khatian, Jamabandi, genealogy, measurement and encroachment.
Camps will be organized in all districts
Nitish government had already issued several guidelines to solve these problems, but many problems still remain. To root out these problems, now the District Magistrate and other senior officials have been instructed to go to villages and set up camps. For example, camps will be set up in all zones in Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s own district Nalanda. In these camps, the District Magistrate and other district level officials will listen to the problems of the people. Along with this, the Zone Officer and the Nodal Officer of the camp will also be present. In these camps, efforts will be made to resolve problems related to land ownership documents, genealogy and partition.
Camps will be held in Nalanda from 18 to 28 September
The program of the officers’ camp in Nalanda has been released. On September 18, a camp will be held in Amba Panchayat Bhawan of Rahui block. District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Deputy Director Consolidation, Sub-Divisional Officer, Circle Officer and Nodal Officer will be present in it. On September 19, a camp will be held in Muraura Panchayat Bhawan of Biharsharif block. Additional District Magistrate, Deputy Director Consolidation, Circle Officer and Nodal Officer will be present in it. On September 21, Deputy Director Consolidation, Circle Officer and Nodal Officer will be present in Charuipar Panchayat Bhawan of Nursarai block. On September 25, a camp will be held in Rajgir block office. District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Deputy Director Consolidation, Sub-Divisional Officer, Circle Officer and Nodal Officer will be present in it. On September 26, Deputy Director Consolidation, Circle Officer and Nodal Officer will be present in Qatrisarai block office. On September 28, a camp will be held in Chorsua Panchayat Bhawan of Giriak block. Additional District Magistrate, Deputy Director Consolidation, Circle Officer and Nodal Officer will be present in it.

It is being told by the government that this land survey will help in ending the land related disputes in Bihar. People can also get the papers related to survey and consolidation online from the website of the Land Reforms and Revenue Department. For this, they will have to pay only Rs 10. Apart from this, people do not need to go anywhere to get important documents like genealogy made. They can make it themselves on ordinary paper and certify it.
