Patna: Land survey work has started again in Bihar. The Revenue Department has asked the land owners to submit the land documents. The survey team is going to every house and asking people to fill the declaration form regarding land distribution, genealogy and a special kind. The land documents will be submitted in the name of the surviving owner only. The survey team itself will go to every house and collect the map. Only after all the documents are completed, the report will be available for everyone to see in the Panchayat and the area.

Land survey resumed in Bihar

The Revenue Department has appealed to all the land owners to submit their land documents as soon as possible. Forms related to land division and genealogy (Form No. 2 and 3) can be submitted to the camp office on every working day. Land owners must give information about their land in a self-written declaration form. If they do not do this, they may face problems later.

Date extended for those without documents

For those who do not have land documents, the date for submitting land documents has been extended. They have been asked to submit their land documents, such as account number, khesra number and land area, to the survey camp office of the area to avoid crowding. Some people have been deployed in every village to help in this work.

Now these four documents are necessary

Land owners have been appealed to attach copies of documents related to land ownership, such as registry, will, receipt and khatian, along with their applications. Land owners can also upload their applications on the department’s website or through any CSP centre. If any other documents have to be submitted later, they can submit them along with the application and mobile number in the survey camp office of their zone.
In this way, now only these four papers will be necessary for land survey.

  • First- Land Registry documents
  • Second- Will documents
  • Third- Land Revenue Receipt
  • Third- Khatian’s copy

If there is any objection to the new Khatian, then raise the issue in the survey camp.

After the formation of the new Khatian, if people have any objection, they can go to the survey camp office and express their views. Ajay Kumar has appealed to everyone not to wait for the last date and to submit all the documents and declaration forms related to their land as soon as possible. In particular, those whose documents are ready have been asked to submit the form immediately. Active participation of people is necessary in this work.
