Patna: Monsoon is active once again in most of the districts of Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding rain in 24 districts including Patna-Ara, Buxar and Bhagalpur in the next 24 hours. So far, the state has received about 27 percent less rain than normal, but this deficiency is likely to be compensated due to the monsoon being active in the next few days. At the same time, the maximum temperature of many districts has reached more than 35 degrees Celsius. Due to which people are facing difficulties due to humidity and heat.

Yellow alert for 3 days regarding rain

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for three days regarding rain in various parts of the state. On July 24, there is a possibility of rain in East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Patna, Ara, Buxar, Arwal, Sasaram, Aurangabad, Gaya, Jehanabad, Nalanda and Nawada. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Jamui, Khagaria, Munger, Banka and Bhagalpur. On July 25, a yellow alert has been issued regarding rain in West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Buxar, Ara, Arwal, Rohtas, Kaimur and Aurangabad. On July 26, a yellow alert has been issued regarding the possibility of rain in Buxar, Ara, Patna, Jehanabad, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Jehanabad, Nalanda, Nawada, Begusarai, Khagaria, Munger, Bhagalpur, Banka and Jamui.

Sitamarhi’s maximum temperature was 36.8 degrees

In the last 24 hours, Sitamarhi district recorded the highest maximum temperature of 36.8 degrees Celsius in the state. Valmikinagar 35.2, Gopalganj 36.5, Motihari 34.2, Araria 33.5, Darbhanga 34.6, Purnia 35.5, Muzaffarpur 33, Vaishali 34.3, Begusarai 33.7, Katihar 33.9, Bhagalpur 33.8, Jamui 33.5, Patna 33.8, Sasaram 33.4, Aurangabad 34.3, Gaya 34.5 degrees and Nawada 34.1 degrees Celsius.

So far, Bihar has received 27 percent less rain than normal

From June 1 to July 23, Bihar has received about 25 percent less rainfall than normal. The state should have received 410 mm of rain till now, but during this period, only 305 mm of rain fell. Due to lack of rain, farmers are disappointed. However, the factors that activate the monsoon are gradually forming. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain in the coming days. Light to moderate rain is expected in eastern Bihar, light rain in the northern part and rain in the areas of South Bihar.
