Due to heavy rains, the Nambidhara river is also in spate. Due to which a pregnant woman in Nambi village suddenly felt severe pain. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the soldiers of CRPF’s 205 Cobra and 196 battalions deployed on the Naxal front immediately came forward to help. Presenting an example of humanity, the soldiers, after hours of hard work and without caring about the danger, safely crossed the river with the pregnant woman and the newborn. The woman delivered prematurely. The villagers were facing great difficulties in taking the woman and the newborn to the primary health center. But the soldiers did not give up and now both are safe.
The water level of the river was very high and the current was also strong. Despite all this, the soldiers risked their lives and brought the woman and the child to the safe shore.
