A young man died in a road accident in Thiruvananthapuram while stealing a gold necklace from Tamil Nadu. The deceased has been identified as Sajad, a native of Kathinamkulam. Police said the accident happened when a woman was stealing an 11-pound necklace from Thakkala. Amal, who was with him, was admitted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. The accident happened around 6.30 am on Sunday.

The bike collided with a divider on the Pallichal Paroorkuzhi National Highway within the limits of Narvamoodu police station. The bike did not have a number plate. The two who fell from the bike were immediately admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College but Sajad’s life could not be saved. Amal, who is in hospital with serious injuries, is said to be a native of Kottayam Pala.

Sajad and Amal escaped from Thakkala at around 5 am today after breaking an 11 pawan necklace around a woman’s neck. The accident happened while coming to Thiruvananthapuram with this. The broken necklace was found in the hand of Amal, who was undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in the accident.
