Thiruvananthapuram: Dozens of bikes with red flags were driven into the Chief Minister’s security convoy in the city center, causing a stir. The bikes arrived at an advertising campaign for a hotel in the city. The policemar were rich in CPM activists or greeting, when the red flag was seen. Complaints of security breaches were also raised.

The incident took place at 11.30 am on General Hospital-AKG Center Road. All other vehicles were stopped here as the CM was passing through it. That’s when about ten bikes came crashing down. The bikes were smuggled by the police. Police identified the hotel advertisers as they entered the CM’s security convoy and approached his car. The MLA then crossed the police jeep in front of the hostel, stopped the bikers and released them after giving a warning.

Organizers said the bike rally was held in advance of the hotel’s campaign. The time and route had been announced earlier. However, City Special Branch officials were not aware of the incident.
