Against the background of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, a bill that was recently raised in the Russian parliament calls for not allowing the adoption of children from the country by citizens of “unfriendly” countries. This list of countries was expanded by the Russians, after many imposed sanctions on the country, following its invasion of Ukraine in the month Last Feb. The list currently includes the United States, Great Britain, Japan, South Korea as well as all member states of the European Union.
