Miller’s mother, Patricia Miller, confirmed the news in a statement to Soap Opera Digest, revealing that her son had been battling bipolar depression.

She described Billy’s long and courageous struggle with bipolar depression and his efforts to control the disease. Billy Miller’s career in the entertainment industry began as a model signed to Wilhelmina. He then transitioned into acting and gained recognition for his role as Richie Novak on “All My Children” from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2014, Miller portrayed Billy Abbott on “The Young and the Restless,” earning three Daytime Emmy awards for his performance. After leaving the show, he joined the cast of “General Hospital” as Jason Morgan and Drew Cain, where he remained until 2019.
Following his departure from soap operas, Miller made appearances in the USA drama series “Suits,” playing the character Marcus, brother of Harvey Spector.
