The president of the Republican Bloc Abdoulaye Bio Tchané held a meeting on Saturday, December 16, 2023, with the BR leaders of the Political Bureau from Donga. The objective of this meeting, which takes place after the extraordinary congress of the party held on September 9, is to discuss with them the challenges they face at the moment, the needs of the populations and the new strategies to be implemented in order to to remobilize the base. On this occasion, the president of the Bloc Républicain party, Abdoulaye Bio Tchané congratulated everyone for the efforts made in animating the political life of the BR. He took the opportunity to give major directions to revitalize the party. The Republican Bloc wants to be the party of young people and women, the party of the masses and the people. The discussions made it possible to take stock of current concerns and to plan on the actions to be taken to achieve objectives. Several other subjects were discussed, notably the soya question. The question of schooling and education, the question of immigration which constitutes a major problem in the Donga department and many others. Furthermore, the Bloc Républicain is the best organized party in Benin, with decentralized structures spread across the entire national territory. It was also a question of putting in place strategies for better functioning and better impact of these structures on the ground.
