Biofuel is already flying clean planes

Private jets represent only a tiny fraction, 0.04%, of global CO2 emissions, according to the Association of General Aviation Manufacturers. On the other hand, according to the NGO Transport & Environnement, if we take into account the low number of passengers they carry (40% fly empty), they pollute ten times more than commercial flights, which themselves are only responsible for 2% of all emissions, compared to 10% for the road. But there are many more cars. In other words: the share of aviation in global emissions is low, but reduced to the number of kilometers and passengers it is high.

Pointed out, the aeronautical world must therefore reinvent itself. The International Air Transport Association has set the very ambitious goal of zero emissions for 2050. Among the solutions considered…
