Biography of Mr. Abdelkader El Ansari, new ambassador of His Majesty the King to the People’s Republic of China
Rabat – Mr. Abdelkader El Ansari, whom His Majesty King Mohammed VI appointed Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in 1983.
Born on March 19, 1962 in Nador, Mr. El Ansari is a graduate of the National School of Public Administration (ENAP) and a graduate of his higher cycle in 1994.
As a diplomat, he notably held the position of Director General of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), whose mission is to promote Moroccan-African cooperation in its cultural aspect.
Head of the Cooperation with African Countries Department from 1994 to 1995, then head of the Arab and Islamic Organizations Division in 2001, he was Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Kingdom in Algiers (1995-2001), and Secretary of Foreign Affairs at the Embassy of Morocco in Athens from 1990 to 1992.
Mr. El Ansari, who was also Morocco’s ambassador to Stockholm and Greece, took part in several missions to Africa and America.
The new ambassador of HM the King to the People’s Republic of China is married and the father of two children.
