Lewis’s passion for comedy ignited at the age of five, after realizing the power of laughter to connect with others.”You know in Christmas songs you get jingle bells?” he recalled. “That laugh just sounded like jingle bells to me, and I was like ‘I want to make people laugh’.” Initially, unsure of the profession, he aspired to be a clown. It wasn’t until age seven, after watching the action comedy I Spy starring Eddie Murphy, that he discovered the term comedian and solidified his career ambition.
However, the path wasn’t immediate. Lewis’s dream remained dormant for approximately two decades before he took his first step onto a stage at The Hollybush in Cradley Heath. “I got a good reaction, and I was like ‘oh, I think I can do this’,” he said.
