In the UAE, birth and death certificates will now be available directly from the website of the Ministry of Health. The ministry said that not only residents but also non-residents can avail this service.
Birth and Death Certificates are available through the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention at https://mohap.gov.ae/. According to the ministry, the website will also facilitate the recovery of lost birth certificates and the need to amend documents.
Birth certificate and health certificate of new-born babies will be available for non-residents and natives in the Sanad section of the website’s personal services. The website has also prepared a package that provides all the documents such as birth certificate, passport, Emirates ID etc. in a single application for newborn babies called Mabrukh Mayak for UAE nationals.
Earlier, the website only had the facility to register birth and death information. Now the ministry is making the certificate available through the website itself.
