‘Biscuit King’ Rajan Pillai’s life now on screen; The Hindi web series is directed by Prithviraj
Kochi: Actor Prithviraj becomes the director of a web series. Prithviraj will be seen as a director and actor when the life of Rajan Pillai, popularly known as ‘Biscuit King’, becomes a web series in Hindi.
Rajan Pillai, a Malayalee, started his business career by investing in a five star hotel in Goa. Rajan Pillai, who was imprisoned in India for financial crimes in Singapore, has died in judicial custody.
Subsequent controversies and inquiries led to prison reform. The series tells the eventful life of Rajan Pillai.
‘The existence of light and dark in human life has always fascinated me as an actor and director. This story has it all, desire, success, high life, the fall of a man from the pinnacle of corporate power, and then to jail .., ‘said Prithviraj.
Prithviraj said that all this happened in the life of a man under the age of 47 and it would be interesting to portray his interesting and complex life.
Yudhali Films has acquired the rights to make a series on Rajan Pillai’s life. No information has been released on which OTT platform will be released.
Prithviraj’s latest film was Bro Daddy. Mohanlal will play the lead role in the film.
Prithviraj also plays the lead role. Kalyani Priyadarshan will play Prithviraj’s partner in the film.
Prithviraj is currently starring in Kaduvakkunnel Kuruvachan.
