In October 2020 PayPal allowed its customers to buy, sell and hold Bitcoin, Ether, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin. But users are not allowed to transfer their crypto holdings from the PayPal site to other wallets.
It has since allowed users to transfer their cryptocurrencies from the PayPal site to other wallets. And thus does not charge transfer fees for other wallets.
Instead it says users will have to pay network fees to transfer cryptocurrencies outside Bhopal and pay to activate transactions for blockchain operators such as Bitcoin and Enemy.
PayPal has promised to charge for cryptocurrency trading and further reduce the exchange rates for cryptocurrencies and dollar transactions.
