The Chief Minister of Karnataka has criticized the Congress party for launching an 11-day march today demanding speedy implementation of the Megha Dadu drinking water project.

The Government of Karnataka is committed to building the Megha Dadu Dam across the Cauvery. It is constantly making efforts for this. The Tamil Nadu government continues to protest. In this context, Karnataka Congress leader Sivakumar recently announced a 168-km trek to implement the Megha Dadu dam project.

In this condition the walk started this morning. The trek started from Sangam in Ramanagara district. It was attended by a large number of Congress volunteers, including former Chief Minister Chidramaiah.

The BJP has criticized the Congress party for taking over the Megha Dadu issue. The party’s interior minister, Araka Gyanendra, said: “When the Congress party was in power, it never worried about the Meghadau project. With the election in mind they have started this trail. This is a political satire game. Everyone in the state is watching their political game. ”
