Rajaji Nagar has more fundamental problems than neighboring assembly constituencies. On the West of Gard Road, flyovers are yet to be completed. After the construction of Lulu Mall, vehicular traffic has been disrupted. Many problems including road potholes are bothering people.

For months now, he has been going around the constituency in style, trying to woo voters. He expects that this time too he may get a seat.
But the list of those seeking seats in the constituency is getting longer. Earlier in BJP, Raghunath, who was the coordination secretary, former councilors Manjunath and Ranganna are also seeking seats.
Especially Raghunath, ‘Suresh Kumar, who got seat seven times and became MLA five times. This time we have to give seats to the freshers. The BJP has requested the top brass to give me a chance to work for the party for 22 years.
Similarly, in the Congress, there is a strong competition for the seat. Former Mayor Padmavathy, Manjula Naidu, Bhavya Narasimha Murthy, Raghuveer Gowda, many others are demanding seats and giving pressure.
Hoping to get a seat, Raghuveer Gowda is campaigning around the constituency. He sent the people of the block on pilgrimage to holy places like Dharmasthala and Chamundi Hill.
An MLC who switched from MJD to BJP is trying to get Congress seat in Rajaji Nagar constituency.
If the seat is confirmed, he is likely to jump to the Congress. He is in touch with state president Shivakumar.
