However, despite the government’s efforts, opposition parties have criticized the initiative, questioning the unity within their ranks. Prime Minister Modi acknowledged these criticisms, stating that hereditary parties only prioritize the welfare of their own families. He further highlighted the presence of leaders facing corruption charges who are currently out on bail, as well as those involved in fraud and serving prison sentences, still participating in public events and holding meetings with anti-national elements.
