Guwahati: Protest against a BJP MLA who saw an obscene video on his mobile while the Legislative Assembly was in session in Tripura. Jadhav Lal Nath, an MLA from Bagbasa constituency in Tripura, has taken the lion’s share.

Jadhav saw the obscene video on his mobile phone when the budget discussion was going on in the assembly. People who were near Jadhav were taking video of this. After this came out through the social media, there was a protest against the MLA. It is reported that the BJP leadership has asked the MLA to explain the incident. Jadhav has not responded to the allegations. As soon as the meeting was over, Jadhav left the place.

This is not the first time that BJP leaders have seen obscene scenes in public. In 2012, there was a controversy in Karnataka when two BJP ministers watched an obscene scene during an assembly session. Then the ministers had to resign. An investigation was announced against them. But after being found not guilty in the investigation, Laxman Sawadi, C.C. Patil were reinstated as ministers.
