Title: Tamil Nadu BJP President condemns attack on Panchayat President, warns DMK

Subtitle: Annamalai calls for immediate action against DMK raiders

Chennai, Tamil Nadu: The President of Tamil Nadu BJP, Annamalai, has strongly condemned the recent attack on the Panchayat President at Perambalur Kalquari and warned the ruling party, DMK, that their association with rioters will not last long. The incident took place in the presence of police, Transport Minister, and Perambalur DMK, where over 300 DMK members, including PAs of LA, went on a killing spree.

Annamalai took to social media and expressed his concern over the escalating violence. In a post, he mentioned that a DMK rowdy gang had disrupted the auction for quarries in Perambalur district, and in the process, attacked Panchayat Council President Kalaichelvan, who also serves as the Vice President of the BJP Industrial Division District, and District President Murugesan.

Not only did they assault the Panchayat President and the BJP officials but also government officials present at the scene. Among them were Jayapal, Deputy Director of Mineral Resources, Assistant Geologist Ilangovan, Revenue Inspector Kumari Anandan, and DSP Palanichami, who were on security duty. Despite warnings from the district collector, the DMK rowdy gang persisted in their violent acts, even resorting to attacking journalists present at the location.

The deteriorating law and order situation in Tamil Nadu was further highlighted by the recent murder of a village administrative officer in his office. The DMK’s reckless behavior has created an unsafe environment, even within the district collector’s office itself.

Under the DMK rule, Tamil Nadu has become a hotbed of raiders. Annamalai emphasized that if the district collector is not held accountable for the mob’s actions, it is unimaginable how vulnerable the common man must be feeling.

“Ruling by raiders will not last long,” Annamalai stated. He urged Chief Minister Stalin to recognize that if the public retaliates, the DMK mob will disappear completely. In the meantime, he strongly demanded that the DMK raiders responsible for the attack on the collector’s office be promptly arrested and dealt with strictly.

The Tamil Nadu BJP, through Annamalai’s statements, called for immediate action to restore law and order and ensure the safety of government officials. The incident has raised concerns about the deteriorating situation and the need for swift measures to address the violence perpetrated by political groups.
