Various organizations have been protesting, demanding the withdrawal of the Tamil Nadu government’s property tax hike. A protest was held yesterday in front of the Nellai Junction railway station on behalf of the Nellai district BJP condemning the property tax hike. Nellai District Superintendent Command Jyoti presided. Nellai District Observer Balaji and former Dachanallur Regional Chairman Murugappa were in the forefront. Sasikala Pushpa, a member of the National Executive Committee and a former MP, spoke on the occasion.
