BJP and Hindutva supporters are strongly condemning the recently released poster of director Leena Manimegala’s documentary film Kali. In this matter, Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra had said, “For me, Kali is a goddess who eats meat and accepts alcohol.” After that, the West Bengal BJP protested to arrest Mahua Moitra.
In response, Moitra said, “If BJP wants to file an FIR against me. He had tweeted, “I will meet you in every court in the country.” At this stage, he has slammed BJP as saying, “BJP should not teach you how to worship Kali.”
Talking about this issue in the Bengali media, Moitra said, “Who is the BJP to teach us how to perform puja of Goddess Kali? What Hindu dharma has BJP leased? Being a devotee of Kali, I knew how to worship Kali.
We have been worshiping the Goddess in the same way for the last 2,000 years. So BJP should not teach us how to worship Kali.”
