BJP will target Tamil Nadu next; G20 Ministerial Conference in Coimbatore Dinamalar

Chennai: Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh has said that the G20 Science and Technology Ministers Conference will be held in Coimbatore.

The ‘G20’ summit, an alliance of 20 countries including India, America, China, Russia, Britain and Canada, is going to be held in India next year.

At the G20 Summit held in Bali, Indonesia on the last 15th and 16th, the leadership of the G20 was handed over to India.

80 percent of global trade takes place in the G20 countries. Two-thirds of the world’s population resides in these 20 countries.

The G20 summit will be held in India at the end of next year.

“Prior to that, a conference of various ministers from these 20 countries will be held in various cities across India,” Prime Minister Modi has announced.

The ministers of the G20 countries are going to discuss various important issues like science and technology, food security, poverty alleviation, terrorism eradication, climate change, environmental protection, electronic money transaction, intellectual property rights throughout the year 2023.

Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh has said that ‘G20 Science and Technology Ministers Conference will be held in Coimbatore, the commercial city of Tamil Nadu’.

In October 2019, Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at Mamallaparam. Following that, the International Chess Olympiad was also held at Mamallapuram this year.

Currently, the G20 science and technology ministers conference of international importance is going to be held in Coimbatore.
