During rush hour, the service on Line A of the Mass Transportation System (STC) The subway was interrupted due to a power outage and for at least 20 minutes, users remained stopped, even in the dark.
Internet users reported that the train stopped between the stations of San Juan Canal and Eastern Agriculturalgenerating uncertainty among users until they were evacuated.

Regarding the failure, the director general of the Metro, Guillermo Calderón, reported that the interruption in service on Line A was due to a review of the electrical system.
“Due to the review of the electrical system, service on Line A is stopped. System personnel are working to restore full service,” Calderón posted on his X account.
