Black&White Survey Highlights Trust Issues with Venezuelan Election Results
The majority of those surveyed by the Black&White poll do not trust the results of the National Electoral Council of Venezuela. According to the survey, 94% of respondents do not trust the results announced by the NEC.
The survey also found:
93% of respondents agree with President Gabriel Boric’s announcement that Chile will not recognize any election results that are not verifiable.
95% believe the Maduro government is undemocratic, and 89% believe his reelection is fraudulent.
56% believe Chile should break diplomatic relations with Venezuela in light of the election results.
95% believe the Venezuelan government is a dictatorship, with 97% of women agreeing.
34% approve of President Boric’s job performance, a four-point increase from the previous survey.
Only 28% approve of the government’s handling of crime.
* 77% believe the main problem facing citizens is insecurity, crime, and drug trafficking.
The survey suggests widespread distrust in the Venezuelan election results and strong negative views of the Maduro government.
