Xi Jinping held talks with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Both hope for friendlier relations between their respective nations
The Chinese president Xi Jinping met the US Secretary of State in Beijing Anthony Blinken visiting the Dragon Country. The confirmation came from the official Xinhua news agency. The Chinese leader reportedly told Blinken that his country and the US should be “partners, not rivals” and added that there are still a “number of issues” to be resolved in the relationship between the two nations and “there is still room for further efforts.”
Xi he confessed to the US Secretary of State his hope that America would have a “positive vision” of development Chinese. “When this fundamental problem is resolved,” he added, “relations will truly be able to stabilize, improve and move forward.”
The blink before the meeting with Xi he had a conversation lasting over five hours with his counterpart Wang Yi which he described as “thorough and constructive”. The head of American diplomacy hopes for an improvement in relations between the two countries and stated very clearly that he hopes “for some progress on the issues agreed upon by our presidents”.
